Thai AirAsia X Baggage Allowance
All AirAsia passengers (excluding infants) are permitted to bring on board two pieces of cabin baggage, which may include:
For carry-on baggage:
- One (1) Cabin Baggage:
- Dimensions must not exceed 56cm (H) X 36cm (W) X 23cm (D).
- Must fit in the overhead storage compartment in the aircraft cabin.
- Additionally, one (1) Laptop bag, handbag, or small bag is allowed:
- Dimensions must not exceed 40cm (H) X 30cm (W) X 10cm (D).
- Must fit under the seat in front of you.
- The combined weight of both pieces must not exceed 7 kg.
Checked Baggage:
If you require additional baggage, AirAsia provides various checked baggage
allowances that can be pre-booked. Fees for checked baggage apply, and the
amount depends on the departure and arrival destinations.
Passengers who have purchased a Value Pack or are flying on Premium Flex or
Premium Flatbed will have a checked baggage allowance included in their fare.
Checked baggage fees are lowest when booked during the initial flight booking
process. You can also pre-book later via your BIG Member account or during web
check-in at the standard rate. Fees for checked baggage at the airport are
highest, so it's recommended to pre-book your allowance in advance.
