Thai Airways Children Flying Alone Policy

Young children traveling without a parent or legal guardian are classified as Unaccompanied Minors. Thai Airways, like many other airlines, offers a service to support these children from their departure point to their destination.

The service is obligatory for children aged 5-11 traveling without an adult. While children aged 12-15 are not mandated to travel as unaccompanied minors, they can opt for this service if desired.

Children under the age of 5 are not permitted to travel alone and must be accompanied by an adult. Airlines may request documented proof of a child's age.

To arrange for this service, contact Thai Airways Reservations. Additionally, you'll need to visit a Thai Airways office in person to complete a form with details of the parent or guardian responsible for dropping off and picking up the child upon arrival.

For more details on Unaccompanied Minors, please reach out to Thai Airways Call Center at +66 2 356 1111 (available 24 hours), or email contact@service.thaiairways.com.
