Passengers traveling with Thai Airways are welcome to bring:
Carry-On Allowance
When it comes to carry-on luggage, it must fit either in the overhead bin or
under the seat in front of you. Passengers are permitted one carry-on bag, along
with a personal item such as a laptop, purse, or overcoat. The dimensions of the
carry-on bag should not exceed 115 cm / 45 ins in length, height, and width, and
its weight must not exceed 7 kg / 15 lbs.
Please note that bulkhead seats lack under-seat storage during take-off and
landing.
Checked Baggage Allowance
For passengers traveling to or from Canada and the US:
Baggage Allowance: 2 pieces
- Maximum Dimensions: 62 linear inches/157 cm (length + width + height)
- Maximum Weight for passengers in all classes: 70 lb/32 kg
For passengers traveling to most other destinations:
- Maximum Weight for Economy Class Passengers: 44 lb/20 kg total
- Maximum Weight for Business Class Passengers: 66 lb/30 kg total
- Maximum Weight for First Class Passengers: 88 lb/40 kg total

Excess, Overweight, Oversize Baggage Fees
Additional fees will be charged if you exceed the permitted baggage allowance,
or if your bags surpass the weight or linear restrictions. These fees vary based
on destination and departing airport. For precise information, please contact

Sports Equipment
Certain sports equipment, due to size, fragility, or specific handling
requirements, may incur an excess fee even if it replaces one of your allowed
baggage pieces.
