Thai Lion Air Baggage Allowance

Passengers traveling with Thai Lion Air are welcome to bring:

Baggage Allowance

The free checked baggage allowance provided by Thai Lion Air may vary depending on factors such as the route, travel class, and ticket conditions.

For most destinations, the allowance is determined by weight, known as the Weight System.

Carry-On Baggage:

In Economy Class, each passenger is permitted one piece of cabin baggage along with either a laptop bag or handbag. The main cabin baggage must not exceed dimensions of 40 x 30 x 20 cm and a weight of 7 kg.

Checked Baggage Allowance:

For Domestic Flights:

- Premium Economy Class: 20 kg with one piece.
- Economy Class: Not applicable.

For International Flights:

- Premium Economy Class: 30 kg with two pieces.
- Economy Class: Not applicable (excluding the Bangkok to Colombo route).

Please note that infants do not receive a free baggage allowance.

Excess Baggage Charges:

For excess baggage on both international and domestic flights:

- Domestic: THB 300 per kg
- International: THB 500 per kg
- Bangkok to Kuala Lumpur: THB 400 per kg

Booking of Lion Baggage can be done via the website, call center, or ticket counters.

Dangerous Goods or Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) are strictly prohibited.
