Thai Smile
Thai Smile Air is the regional airline and wholly owned subsidiary of Thai Airways. Operating and headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand, it began operations in July 2012. The merger with Thai Airways was finalized on December 31, 2023, marking the end of operations for the airline. The complete cessation of operations took effect on January 1, 2024.
The airline has been operating fully at Suvarnabhumi Airport since January 2017, ending services at Don Mueang International Airport.

Thai Smile aims to bridge the market gap between budget airlines and full-service carriers. The name Thai Smile was selected from 2,229 entries in a naming contest.
Royal Orchid Plus is the loyalty program for Thai Smile. Members can
accumulate points on each flight and redeem them for complimentary flights and
various exclusive rewards and preferences.
The complete cessation of operations took effect on January 1, 2024.
